We envision
Egypt 2057
We envision Egypt in 2057 as a country applying holistic development in the cultural, ecological, economic, and societal life. All Cultural Institutions in Egypt promote lifelong learning, integrative health, holistic research and collaborative cultural activities. All stakeholders implement sustainable agriculture, sustainable water management, renewable energy, biodiversity regeneration and climate change mitigation. All businesses implement a circular economy, the principles of EoL, ethical finance practices, and responsible consumption. The whole society celebrates diversity and is engaged in a holistic societal and organizational transformation.
Nurturing Growth
SEKEM's mission is to contribute to our vision for Egypt 2057 by working on the continuous development of our vision, holistic research, prototyping and upscaling of new holistic models in our community and ultimately contributing to the much-needed system change to mainstream holistic and sustainable development.
